Lurking from May 08 PR... just wanted to say this is probably the most beautiful nursery I have EVER seen! I love it love it love! Did you pain the jungle theme on the walls?

Thank you so much  We love it!
No, I only wish I could paint like that lol! We hired a lady who came and painted it for us. It took her nearly 24 hours, but we could not be more proud of the outcome!

From April 09 DDC [if I can figure out how to join!  ] but omg! I love your little man's nursery! I've been trying to get DH to let me hire someone to paint Brody's but he just doesn't see the point. Some men are just thick-headed like that!
I saw where you guys hired a woman to paint it...how did you find her? If I can talk DH into letting me do it, my MIL is a superintendent at a high school here in FL with some art teachers I'm thinking I could pay to get them to do it. But I'm nervous about getting a stranger to paint my little guy's room! What if I don't like it?

That's how I felt. I looked around for a while before hiring someone. It was actually a friend of mine's aunt who did it. She sketched out her ideas first and scanned & emailed it to me, so I had an idea of her abilities. Plus she sent me some pictures of other murals she had painted. She did a great job!

Oh you got lucky then! She did a wonderful job, I can only hope to get someone to paint my little guy's that well! I doubt we'll get someone before his EDD, though. Kudos to you for one of the best nursery's I've ever seen!

Thank you The bedding is from Babies 'R Us, but I believe they were discontinuing it. You may still be able to get it online though. There are other jungle themes that are similar
