Actually, both the crib and the changing table I got off Craigslist... go figure! $75 for the crib and $375 for the changing table! - We bought them before DS was born. The big purple chair I bought at BRU for like $400-- it was my splurge (I have to have this) purchase.

Both rooms look F.A.B.U.L.O.U.S. You did a great job! I really like the car pictures above your boy's bed and the canopy/drapes above the baby's bed.

Your little girls room is beautiful (both really are but I'm trying to figure out how to decorate DD's room).
#1 The matching footstool, pillow and valance, did you make them? (if so, where did you get the beautiful fabric??)
#2 What did you use for the canopy?
Also, The pictures on the wall look like they could be coloring book pages... is that what they are or where did you find the "art"??
Beautiful rooms really really pretty!
I'm not trying to copy your room. I know you must have put a lot of work into it. I'm having a hard time finding pretty and origional fabrics (not the same old choices) and I'm just aweful at knowing where to get anything.

Both are super cute!!!! Love the themes of both! I cannot wait to get started on our little girls nursery but I am feeling overwhelmed at how much I need and how much I need to do....however I felt that way about DS's big boy room and it all came together quickly and perfectly (we just did that a few months ago when he moved out of the nursery!)

The matching pillow, valance, and footstool my mom had made. I got the fabric at a local fabric store.
For the canopy my husband got some moulding (like you would put on your wall by the ceiling) and made a box, and then I got the drapery from Wal-mart (it was a REALLY long 1-piece white see-through curtain and I cut it evenly in half and stapled it on the canopy box, and then my husband drilled it all to the ceiling.
As for the artwork, I ordered it from this website a couple of years ago (this was my DS's room prior-- I just added girly touches like the pink and the canopy)... Farmhousefive Art for Kids Farmhousefive Art 4 Kids

They both look great! Can I ask what is that on the changing table for your little girl? I thought it was a diaper Jeanie but it doesn't look like one.
I love the letters in your DS's room

OMG both are just gorgeous! I love the chair! I also just love your DS's room. Boy's rooms just never seem as fun as girl's but with your son's I almost love it more than your DD's hard to choose! Where did you get the red chair and the pictures hanging on the wall. I just love all the red!!
