I lurk here quite a bit, but we recently decided to find out the sex of our baby (we found out Monday)..we planned on keeping it a surprise but DH kept telling me he KNEW we were having a girl..and I was so convinced boy, we couldn't wait until August to figure out who was right! He was! Which is awesome..we both really wanted a girl!


We are starting on the nursery this weekend - we ordered our bedding Monday and the valances came today so we can match the paint to those! I am pumped!

Can't wait to keep seeing everyone's nurseries! They are all amazing!

its giong to be a long haul! we havent even ordered our furniture...hopefully within the next couple weeks! we have to paint, get new carpet in, and set it up...before august! excited to be finished and see it all together!

It does come together quicker than you think. Save some stuff to do at the end b/c you will be so anxious & something to keep you busy is wonderful! The last 5 weeks are torture LOL. I had everything done bu 35 weeks, he was born at 38w6... so 4 weeks of torture

well we also have to dry wall her closet before we can put her clothes away and if I know my husband that won't get done until august....it will take me hours to put her clothes away just how I want them to be..and we have to put shelves and stuff up in there! im the person who will change everything 900x before i like how it is....im super OCD about placement and the "flow" of a room!
