Well we barely made a dent in what needs to be done, but this took all day Saturday!
Before:
Horrible blue (the lights are on in the nursery, the blue just made the room very dark!)
as you can see, its broad daylight outside...and my flash is on!
Now:
There are floor boards so thats why there is still some green showing..but we arent putting those on until after we get the new carpet in mid june and they still need to be painted anyway and we have to do the striping
We're going to add stripes to it at the bottom (

(The B and the E aren't done..they're still plain) and the Y isn't finished (its going to be plaid but we ran out of tape) and I need to touch up the I...Sam made the L so thats why the big hearts of kind of goofy looking..but he really wanted to make the L for LOVE because he Loves Little Miss Brylie
...it's too cute how excited he is!
things left to do:
*Finish the striping
*we are doing scalloping across the top of the wall to match the scalloping on her bedding. my SIL and I made stencils by tracing the bedding on contact paper so that wont take long at all to finish...
*Wall pop wall decals in pink and chocolate brown will get put up on the white as well
*We have a circle mirror we need to figure out what to do with
*we still have to order the furniture (This is what we're getting)
*we are getting new carpet as soon as the painting is done (we are finishing it june 6)...so hopefully it will be carpeted by the end of june!
