So my DD is 14 mo. now But I wanted to post pictures to prove you can do a cute look a budget. I spent about $40 on decor and $125 on furniture include changing table crib and swing. Its not that I wanted to be cheap but she was a wonderful surprise, and neither me or my SO could find work so we were on welfare.




On the wall is her changing table. Her room is very small so as a space saver it swings down for use and goes back up when not in use.







I would of loved her room to be better but it was perfect for us in the moment. But I wanted to share knowing that the economy is rough right now.

I think painting the letters on with that cute font is a great idea (rather than spending all the extra on the wooden ones).

I've never seen a diaper changer like that one. We didn't space is DD#1's nursery, so we did without.

Where did you find all the stecils for the wall? (I know I couldn't do anything like that free hand)

I got pictures off line and then transfred them with sharpie to over-head-transparency then took a projector and put them on the wall, then just copied them on the wall.

The changing table is from Ikea its great the one i have i found on clearance now they have a slightly newer pretty one that is a little more then i paid (10$) but its still affordable




Even the paint was clearance we found at LOWEs they have a throw back center its all the paint that tinted teh wrong color ect.
