We want the Fisher Price Rainforest theme for our first baby and I'd like to start putting together a paint set and pictures of how to paint the room. Does anyone have ideas and steps to get started? I'm thinking doing the whole room in a jungle and rainforest mural, and I have over a year to put it all together (we're not even pregnant yet ). I want to take my time and stretch our budget out so I'm only spending a little at a time (a gallon of paint here, an afternoon of painting there). I'm also not very artistic, so I've also thought about hiring someone to paint the trees and animals. Has anyone done this? Are there things I can do myself to get started and save some money? Our walls are textured, so I don't think wallpaper or border is an option. But I've never done any painting or room-renovations, so I just don't know where to start. Any ideas???

I would suggest making transparencies and then use an overhead projector to cast them onto the wall and trace!
