I truly don't know if it is a big no no or not?? but have painted TONS with this pregnancy. We bought a new house and are in the process of selling this one so I have been busy getting everything in order. I painted in well ventilated rooms with a painters mask. I also took freqent breaks. my DR was okay with it.

Yep, what they said. I painted my sons room when I was about 30wks along. Just make sure to have LOTS of good ventilation and take frequent breaks to get some air.

I painted throughout all my other pregnancies with no issues. As long as it's well ventalated your okay. I think the bigger issue is falling off a ladder.

Maybe the best thing for you to do is ask your doctor. If he/she says its not such a good idea, maybe you have some great friends or family members that can do it for you.
My DH had planned on painting our daughter's bedroom while I was pregnant... but we went out of town one weekend and my sister & her husband surprised us by doing it for us! So nice of them!!

I tried to stay away from it as much as possible. DH painted the main colors in the room and I just painted the accents.
