I am just curious how long a store generally keeps a pattern/line. I REALLY like Kids Line Olivia for a girl and we were going to use that next month if our baby was a girl (unfortunately I miscarried in March at 15 weeks) but I still love this set and we are shooting for a July 2007 baby.

Do you think it will still be around or have any idea what the rule of thumb is on changing them out in stores?

im not sure how long they keep a line for, i know when i registered for the one i wanted at target they were starting to discontinue it, so we barely got the essentials in the set i wanted. i know i found some of the things in his set on ebay.

The bedding my daughter has, they have had in stores for about 2 years, could be slightly longer. I know that the bedding is now marked down at Baby Depot (where we purchased it from). Hopefully that will help you out. Is it possible for you to purchase it now, save the receipt... and if the gender of the baby isn't a girl, you can return it? Just an idea.
