Ok ladies...I've been doing well selling lots of bows lately so that= lots of paypal $$! LOL
I've designated that as my redecorating fund. This will be for Layla's room- I always redo the kids rooms once they're out of the crib- then not again except for twin size bedding.
I try to pick accessories that will grow with them and the boys seem to be working out fine. Sam needs a twin bed (obviously I can't pay for that!) and possibly a new dresser. I told Jake he could pick out a new bed set from Target. But they're happy with their rooms as they are.

I will also be moving some stuff around in her room and taking out the big rocker (we don't use it anymore ) and replacing it with a doll cradle and small rocker - they were mine from when I was little. She already has a cute clock, shelves, flower peg hooks and a small mirror that will stay.

Anyway- here are some pics of things I have or am getting. It's a lot of work looking for all this stuff!
Her room is a yellow color that I really like, I'm keeping it the same.

One of these beds, not sure which one yet...
This or this

Toddler quilt, sheet and sham (already have) - also have gingham sheets & pillowcases in blue, green and hot pink-

another quilt and sham -it was on sale! -it's always nice to switch off! (already have)

shade (already have)

with this rod (on its way!)

this pbk rug (just won on ebay)

mobile for in the corner hanging from ceiling (on its way-ebay)

Drawer knobs- these 5 + 3 more ( won on ebay, she's painting the other 3)

wall stencil letters - this will be done on her big wall, each letter a different color, prob. 7" high (not buying yet)

wall stickers (not buying yet) -these will go randomly around the room, more around the stencil letters

I'm also going to have her name made in those wooden letters and then painted but I'm not sure how. I don't think it will be in a flower theme, probably just pink and then each letter outlined in a different color-hot pink, green, blue and yellow. Not sure yet, have to wait for more paypal $$.

Ok, I think that's it! Just wanted to share and get opinions/suggestions.
Thanks for listening to me ramble on!

Thanks! I can't wait to get started on it! Dh thinks I'm nuts for planning so far in advance but I can't help it, I've always been that way. I told him when I get what I call "the vision" I have to go with it, lol!

I'm starting to like the 1st one better too lately! I think it's because I want a sleigh bed and since I can't get one, she might as well! You know I will post pics when it's done! Just like I can't wait to see Brinlee's playroom. Are you guys still doing that?
The only thing I'm torn on is selling Layla's current bedding...there's no reason to keep it (except sentimental) and I could use the money...don't know what to do there. Maybe just keep the quilt and sell the rest?

Sherry, I feel the same way! I want Brinlee to stay in her crib until she is climbing out of it (even if this means she is 3 1/2!) LOL But on the other hand I can't wait to convert it and redo her room!!!!!!!

Oh, and yes, we still plan on doing her playroom.... but things are put on a hold right now... frustrating, but we HAVE to get our bathroom done and now we are having a problem with our kitchen!!!!!

ALWAYS!!! First the bathroom, then the kitchen... if it isn't the house then it is the car, and if it isn't the car then it is another family memer or school! UGH, being an adult has so many cons!

Thank you! Still waiting to do her room...! LOL This thread was from Sept.!! I can't believe I've been planning that long.
I finally have everything above--at last I had enough money in paypal for the wall stencil phrase letters (that was more $$$ than I thought, I got 10 inch in curlz font) , they will be here on Valentine's Day! And her wooden letters are being painted now, I don't expect them for over a month.
But then that will be it!

Yes. It took a very long time though...I expected it to be awhile but it was so long that I couldn't even leave feedback! Like over 2 months at least.
I will say that they came out beautiful & perfect. She does a very good job if you don't mind waiting.
found an auction of hers: http://cgi.ebay.com/Kid-Daisy-Garden-paint...tem150090981631
She hand paints all different kinds, I think they're gorgeous!
