At first we didn't use the nursery much because Ally wasn't sleeping in her crib (although we would go in to change her). But, ever since she starting sleeping 6 hours + at night (about 9 or 10 weeks) she sleeps in her crib and now we use the nursery a lot.
Kinda the same here. Although both boys nurseries were used from the get-go.
With dd we co-slept so mostly her room was for changing her and getting dressed/pj's on. Then it was for naps too. Around 7 months she started going to bed in her crib. It's been used a lot since then.
But I wouldn't say I spent a fortune on any of their rooms...
by the time baby #3 was on her way, I knew exactly how much use the room would get at first, lol.

We used it for DS, because he had alot of equipment (oxygen, monitors, etc). For this baby, I plan on using it more so because it's going to be in our master bedroom sitting room. I'll have the baby next to the bed while I'm recovering from my c-section, then start transitioning into their nursery. DS is putting up french doors for more seperation, but the baby will be close.
We didn't use our nursery much except to change him when he was any younger than 4 months old. After that he slept in his own room and we have used it a lot since then. We didn't spend a fortune on it though.
