Well if you're giving them each their own room it kind of defeats the whole "twin nursery" thing. But I do think you could do like a theme .. and maybe make each room have the same theme but like a different color scheme.

one of each? boy and girl?

Tons of ideas pop in my head. A Good and Evil theme. Hers could be angels and butterflies or something. His could be dragons and monsters.

if you want traditional styling with characters...
Her: Pooh
Him: Tigger

Her: Snoopy
Him: Woodstock

Her: My little Pony
Him: Care Bear

Her: Horses or Unicorns
Him: Trucks and cars

What kind of things do YOU like? Do you want characters? Do you want just some colors? How elaborate and fun do you want to be?

How about a castle theme in each room... castles can be so girly or so boyish depending on how you accessorize!!

You could paint the walls like castle bricks... and paint a window looking out to landscape... and use torche lighting from Ikea:

basically a prince and princess theme...

My girlfriend had twins and had a really hard time getting them to sleep apart. I don't know if its because they were together for so long in the womb.
She had them in the same room but in different cribs and they wouldn't sleep like that. They would stay up all night crying. The minute you put them in the same crib they were happy as ever.
Every child is different but its just something to think about...

I think those are cute. You could do two rooms, but I know that twins like to sleep together for as long as possible.

no, that's a really good idea. I have decided that I am going to put them both in the same room but I'm gonna do have the room pink and half the room blue. I'll post pics when I'm done.[/b]

That's a great idea, can't wait to see pics!

I have GG twins. I'm glad you decided to put them in the same room. Having them in separate rooms would be too hard to handle, IMHO. If I had g/b twins, I was going to do Raggedy Ann and Andy, or all primary colors, red, blue, and yellow with geometric shapes.
