I went to Ikea today and I noticed that they sell cribs and bedding and changing tables etc. It seems pretty afforable. They had a new crib on display that i liked and it was about $200 canadian. I'm just curious if anyone has bought any of their nursery products. I'm wondering how good it is? Any opinions?

Haven't used any of their nursery stuff, but other stuff has been fine. The only thing I personally didn't like about the Ikea Cribs was that they are lower & don't adjust or have moveable railings or Mattress levels.

Yeah I noticed that too. I thought the crib settings were kinda low. I think there was only 2 choices you could adjust it to.. definitly something to consider.

Yea, that was the reason we nixed them. I am 5'7 & Hubby is 6'6" soe we need something that will adjust & be good for both of us. Though other than that I did like the looks.

My crib is from BRU, and doesn't have adjustable side rails. I love it (safety factor).

Anyway... I don't have any Ikea nursery stuff, but we have plenty of things from IKEA -mostly Pax closet systems. I love shopping there, we can always find something. I am looking at a storage unit for the nursery. They have a white cubic style one that holds clear red square bins. I think we're getting that.
