I don't think I've ever seen toddler "rooms" just the bedding like you've said.
That will be fun to do boy/girl toddler rooms!
I'm so excited to do my little girls room...just waiting till she's out of the crib in another year but I already bought the stuff, LOL!
I am doing my dd's room with crib sheets& pillowcases, quilt and small sham from Pottery Barn Kids.
I love their stuff. My thread about what I was doing & pics is in this forum somewhere, maybe a page or two back if you want to check it out.

eta: Here are a couple I found, Storybook toddler room
and http://www.hgtv.com/hgtv/dc_design_childre...3156321,00.html
Here is a link for some good room ideas HGTV

Tips for decorating: http://www.decorating-your-baby-nursery.co...ddler-room.html
and there is a link at the bottom of the page for general room theme ideas, from characters to flowers to circus.
Good luck!
