Okay... well I lurk on these boards a lot, and recently starting posting on the pregnancy loss board after the loss of my ectopic pregnancy. While pregnant my favorite thing to do was look at stuff for the nursery.. and never found anything i fell in love with until yesterday Is it ridiculous to purhchase this nursery bedding even though i'm not pregnant.. and even when I get pregnant there's no guarantee i'll have a girl? I just don't want to wait and not find anything I like nearly as much when the time comes.. what do you guys think?

Hmmm, I'm stuck in the middle. On one hand I say get it, because I wouldn't want to have missed out on something great and then have that regret of not being able to get it when the time comes. On the other hand, I say don't get it because I wouldn't want you to be disappointed if you don't have a girl down the road. Plus, you never know if you will find something different (if you have a girl say in 3 or 4 years or something).... sorry I'm not much help!

It sounds like you did the right thing. My DH and I have been TTC for over a year now and we just bought our first purchase for the baby last weekend. We purchased the Classic Pooh bedding set. It's gender neutral and I just fell in love with it. I hope we're both able to use our purchases very soon!
