I haven't found a rug that matches the theme perfectly. Has anyone ever make a Latch Hook rug or made some other type of home made rug?

I've never made a rug and don't know anyone who would know. Have you looked on ebay? (probably have!) I have a store bookmarked on there that sells rugs pretty cheap, I'll get the name and PM you with it. Also, do you have a Baby Depot around you? I've found some really cute rugs there before and I believe I've seen blue moons and blue star rugs.

I've made a latch hook rug before Nick, and while it definitely wasn't a difficult thing to do, I wasn't overly happy with the results. That being said, I was 9 years old, and the rug was of Strawberry Shortcake!

LOL!

I got Layla's pbk rug from ebay store RugHaven, it's a pastel chenille and I LOVE it!
They had this one there that is baby blue chenille and it's $39.

and this one is $89 (3 x 5)- 2 different pics, supposedly the same rug so maybe 1 st pic is off?

Then I found this one at another store that is perfect! But it is $99...not sure what you want to spend...

My rug is just a fur throw that I sewed a non-slip suface on the bottom and added trim. I think I made the whole thing for about $30.00.

Rugs can get expensive, the rug I wanted to match Brinlee's new "big girl room" from PBK was $129... I wasn't about to spend that on a rug I hope you can find one for a great price!

I hope you find one! I know it can get frustrating when you know what you want but can't find it.
Have you ever seen rag rugs? I know I've seen them in shades of blue. Maybe at Bed, Bath & Beyond?
Erica, that is so funny, I swear we always go to the same places! LOL
Layla's rug I got was $69 or $79. What was funny was the seller sent me the right color rug (different pastels) but it was a much bigger size that was normally almost $200, lol. She said since it was her mistake that I could keep the big one if I wanted but I sent it back because it was really too big for her room. I just needed a 2 x 3.

That would be a nice mistake if you really wanted that rug. I am going to have to look around. it is not a "must have" right now but a nice want.
