How many people purchased a diaper pail?

If so, what kind?

Did you find it useful or did you hate it?

Though I'm sure they've improved since I had one...a friend gave me one when I had Jake 9 yrs. ago.
Used it for a week and HATED it! She didn't want it back so we threw it in the dumpster. LOL
I haven't used one since. If diapers are stinky I tie them up in a plastic grocery bag & just toss it in the trash.

We had the diaper genie, and I hated it. I will NEVER use it again. My sister does have the Diaper Champ and loves it, I like it to (use it when I'm there).

I have the diaper champ and I love it! I love the fact that I can use my own trash bags in it. To make it smell a little better I buy scented trash bags.

aw braden's mom your little boy is adorable!

I was advised against a diaper pail and didnt really see the point in spending extra money for the refills, we use a small bathroom wastebasket big enough for a walmart sack. when it gets full we take it out to the trash, the really yucky ones go straight to outside. it's way cheaper and we have no problems with smell

Ditto It worked fine for like 2 months and I loved it. I used it all the time.. then it just suddenly stopped working. It wouldn't twist the bags. Plus it's gross to empty LOL

I have the Diaper Champ and LOVE it. It is about as odor free as you can get and you can use regular trash bags.

I LOVE my diaper champ... I loved it in disposable diapers w/ Peter, just tie off the bag before lifting it out and you'll never have smell in the room

Now i'm on cloth diapers, and I do the same thing, close off the bag (w/out tying) and take it down to the laundry and dump them in the laundry.. I never have to touch a diaper!

(I do rinse out the poopies before putting them in the champ).

I LOVE my diaper champ... You don't have to buy refills... you can use normal trash bags... no smell... and it is fun to put the diaper in.
