okay my two kids share a room-- we have a wooden crib, a packand play playpen, a toy box, two 4 ft tall dressers. i have no clue how to arrange the room- this is how the room looks like.--stetch--

i cant hide a dresser in the closet--- the apartment has a funky built in--- it really doesnt work and we can take it down

this is how the room is set up now-- the cabinet, dresser by the closet and small dresser beside the crib are leaving the room.

First thing, I wouldn't put the crib or playpen next to a window or a vent. That is just my opinion. I would also try to keep the beds as far away from outlets that are being used, if they are not being used I would definitely have the child-proof plug covers in them. Let me think about this for a few minutes and I'll get back to you on it

So wait, you need to add a bed? Is this correct?

You may want to PM me. I can sketch this out for you. I'll need approx dimension of all items going into the room listed out please. After I have all the info-it'll take me about 15 min to reconfigure for you. I can send you a nice PDF that you can print out then.

all the outlets are child-proof already-- . i also agree with u and not wanting to put the crib/playpen near the window and the floor space heater. i will get the dimensions asap... need to measure---

i am adding two dressers that my parents just gave us. the room also needs to be able to take the play pen out and put a toddler bed in its spot- in the next couple of months-- probably gonna move dd into the toddler bed in 4 months--..

Let me get this straight:

1 Crib
1 toddler bed/playpen (same spot)
2 dressers (both 28x16?)
1 toybox

These are the items going in, correct? And you just want a nice setup other then what you have, correct?

alright. here are both options I thought of. I've placed dotted lines so you can have the idea where you could divide the room. If you paint, you could tape off one side of those walls and paint a color, then paint the other color on the other side. If you can't paint, you may be able to hang a tiny sheer or even curtians to help seperate them.(Think of a hospital room style curtians, how they go around on a track.) I can email these to you to print off if you'd like-they'd be a reverse color-white background with black lines.
