Any ideas for me??? I'm due in Jan/Feb and I'll be sharing my room with the baby. I already know I need to move my stuff around to even make room, and I also know I need to get rid of all the crap that's in my room. But, any ideas for me?? Should I get a crib or just use a pack 'n' play? For a change table, I'll be using my dresser and I'll put a change pad & cover on it to change the baby on.

Any other ideas??? I want to be able to give the baby the best I can, but with both of us in one room, I want to have a special spot for the baby to call "it's own"

TIA!

I lost Quinn on June 15th, but am still seeking advice and ideas when it comes to sharing my room with a baby. Thank you all for your replies!! The wall letters are DEFINITELY something I'd be doing!!

LindsLuvsSi - Would you still be willing to create something for me?? It would be greatly appreciated if you could!

First Congrats!!! yep i would move your stuff around to make more room, make it so there's one specific side for the baby. a crib, bassinet, cradle, a mini crib or a pack n play would work fine! and you're smart about the dresser/changing table.

how big is your room? what furniture do you have in it? i could make like a layout design as to where i would put "your" side and the "baby's" side. i love interior decorating and designing things. you could PM back if you'd rather. I'd love to think of ideas for ya! btw i'm Lindsey!

I had also originally planned to share my room with my baby as well, but now we decided to add a nursery to our new house plan (my house burnt a while back)... I was planning on using a mesh curtain to seperate my "room" from the baby's "room"... and decorating both rooms accordingly... I like the idea of using your dresser as the change table, and I think a pack n play would be a great room-saver
