I was looking around Ikea.com and I found that they have cribs. I really like this one.

Would it be safe? It looks cute, but I worry about the slats. What do you think? Have any of you bought one from Ikea?

It looks nice but i have heard bad things about slatted cribs. baby can get under the mattress and fall through the slats.

I got my from there and I loved it. It was easy to assemble and not too pricey. Jaidon loved it and I never had any problems with the slats. I wish they had that one then though since it converts to the toddler bed. I recently gave mine away though because I wasn't planning on being pregnant so soon and I had friends who needed a crib.

I got my crib from IKEA only I got this one
they are similar but a different brand. I'm not sure what "slats" you are referring to, but when it comes to safety I can't see any problems. As long as you get the correct size of mattress I can't find how your child will get under it. If you want to know more, let me know.

The bottom supports, are they slats or is it solid. Under the mattress.

I have two of those cribs and we love them. They are slatted underneath, but our mattresses fit perfect and never had any issues.

All cribs have to conform to safety standards before being marketed.

That's a cute one! And yeah they can't even sell them if they don't meet the safety standards.
