Thought this might be helpful, as I struggled and searched and plotted and planned for months to get this to all work out. All of the furniture except for the glider is stuff we already had, so we had to make that work as well. What really helped me was to let go of the thought that everything had to MATCH, and instead, just had to BLEND. I am super excited with the final "product" and now just need for my baby girl to get here
I want to at some point put up some simple shelves (the ones that look like crown molding) for Tmy son's trophies and framed pictures, and maybe a couple things for the walls, but essentially it's done I LOVE LOVE LOVE my gliding rocker, finally for #3 I have a comfy chair to nurse in. It was hard envisioning putting a baby girl with a preschool boy, but I think it worked out. (We have a playroom where most of the toys are)
PS- I do need to press the Roman shades, they are pretty wrinkly

I LOVE the colors and absolutely WANT THAT CHAIR!! LOL It doesn't look like a glider/rocker at all. ??
We have a huge chair that was so cozy and I wanted to keep in the nursery but the room is so small, it just wasn't gonna fit. It's now sitting in our dining room ...in all its "ugly" glory (it's 70's style ugly) BUT OH SO COMFY!!
I think it all blended nicely and I really like the roman shades too!
