Okay so it might be a tad early to be worrying about this. The baby that I am now pregnant w/ will be sharing a room w/ my then 2 year old daughter. If it's a girl, no problemo, we're set. *crosses fingers* However, if it's a boy we're in mighty big trouble and we will be redecorating. I worry greatly about a boy in a room full of ballerina bears. So if it is a boy, we'll be decorating in a prince and princess theme. Sounds cute right? Problem is, I'm having a heck of a time finding crib bedding for a boy in a prince theme. My criteria? Reasonably priced... no $800.00 sets please. I also want it in blues rather than yellows or greens. Can anyone help me?

Congrats first off!!! and secondly what a cute idea!!! I don't think it's too early to worry, I'm not even pg and I'm trying to figure out my nursery!!

I researched and here is what I found, it's called "my little king" http://www.sweetpeachesbedding.com/my-litt...t-p23392-c.html

it's called prince charming, you could do the room the frog prince/princess story, her side all princessy and his side with the cute lil frog prince. Not sure if you like frogs or this, but it's what i found and think could work out nicely! here's the link http://www.akidsbeddingline.com/pchcrbe.html

this site has girly princess room decor with the frog prince on it too... http://www.distinctivenurseries.com/search...&search.y=0

or just some frog bedding and then get things personalized that say "prince charming" http://www.mysweetdreamsbaby.com/babybedding/frog.htm or http://www.sweetpeachesbedding.com/sammy-t...t-p19672-c.html

a cute prince pillow http://www.sweetpeachesbedding.com/prince-...w-p22658-c.html

more froggie bedding http://www.babysupermall.com/main/br...g-bedding.html

there's this on ebay, I searched for more but I couldn't find anything http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Kidzone-Prince-3-P...bayphotohosting

if that doesn't work or you dislike it, another idea is just do the bedding white and blue but yet that would match your daughters room and just add pillows and wall plaques, frames that say "prince" etc. (you could fabric paint "prince" on pillows/ the outside of the bumper etc...

some more prince things/item for baby that you may like?

Good luck, hope I helped some!!

I don't know how Linds comes up with all these themes, but she sure is good at it!!

I love the whole idea you have for sharing the room with your possible son and daughter!

The frog price and princess idea sounds sooooo cute!!!

Good luck with whatever you decide! I can't wait to see the pics!!

This is the crib set we wanted if we were going to have a boy (its a girl!):

http://www.nurserydepot.com/cribbedding/pr...1815-120945-4-1

It is a prince/dragon theme. DH wanted dragons for his little boy! It does have alot of red in it, but also alot of blue. The 4 piece crib set is $259 and you can buy additional accessories as well (pillows, sheets for older kids, etc.)
