Too cute! Did you find most houses dark and no one answering the door? Our neighborhood has become more and more full of Halloween grinches every year. We've decided that next year we're loading up in the car and finding another neighborhood where the people don't like spoiling children's fun! (My kids had fun anyway but boy did I want to TP some houses!)
We went trick or treating last night too. I am visiting my sister and her neighborhood picks the time and date every year, and announces it to everyone. This year it was Oct 31 from 6-8. Where I live each area chose and the date was in the local paper. Some areas picked Saturday (actually what my area picked, and others picked Sunday.) Honestly I was just happy even some picked Sunday. Of course I heard several people say that Saturday was better because it wasn't a school night where you had to get kids off the candy high to get to sleep for school the next day. My mom said that several times yesterday. But I doubt it will be moved to Saturday EVERY year, or even be a debate. (Oh and it can't be on Friday because they would interfere with High School football.) LOL
We stayed in and just answered the door. My LO did very well with all of the kids and didn't get scared once. She was an elephant (Roll Tide!) this year. She couldn't wear the costume that long since it was rather hefty and she was getting a little sweaty!
