I don't want to start a debate...

This is simply just a question.

Which political party are you registered in?

I'm just wondering how many of us A's are registered to which party...

Now, I kinda have a theory, that most of us A's are Democrats or none republican...And I'm only assuming that because to be a Republican, you pretty much are hardcore religious...You know...God, Guns, and "Freedom".

But like I said...that is my own personal theory, and I do not want to start a debate...I'm just wondering how ignorant I am

I'm registered as an Independent. I definitely lean liberal, but can't align myself 100% just yet.

Democrat. I lean on the liberal side and the Republicans are way to conservative for my taste. Although, most Democrats are to conservative for me

Well, let me screw up the poll numbers a little...
I am registered as a republican. Why? 1) I used to enjoy the fiscal policies of the republicans. 2) I have been too lazy to change it.

I research the candidates and vote based on who I feel represents my interests more.

I think I am registered independent, although I don't really know for sure because I don't really agree with either party. As far as personal freedoms I am a democrat, but when you get to the financial part I lean more republican.

I'm a registered Democrat, though I don't actually consider myself one. It's just what I chose at 18, and should probably get around to changing it to Independent. I've never voted for a Republican in my life and can't see that ever happening. Like April, even most Dems are too conservative for me. I'm a full-on bleeding heart liberal.

Registered Democrat... I think you're pretty right on about the non-republican part

Same here! I grew up in a Republican family and a lot of their ideas just don't make any sense to me.

You know, it occured to me that my political views seem to align more with the independent party, but I will stay registered democrat because I want to be able to vote in the dem primaries. Independents don't get to do that, right? Or do they? I admit, I don't know how stuff works when you're registered anything other than Dem or Gop.

It's different laws per each state. I know my state you have to be registered within the same party you vote for primaries.

Libertarian. Fiscally conservative socialy liberal.

Interestingly there are a growing number of atheist/agnostic republicans. Most of them are business owners. Technically most of them are libertarians but they vote republican because well... how easy is it for a Libertarian candidate to get elected?

Registered Democrat, but I'm more accurately a "blah, politics" type. I figure it's my duty to use my vote for what I consider the lesser evil.

Libertarian, through and through. I do vote for the Libertarian candidates basically all the time. I too am fiscally conservative and socially liberal. I believe very strongly in personal freedom, personal responsibility and capitalism. The Constitution is the foundation of this country and ANYTHING that doesn't follow it needs to be done away with completely, plain and simple.

I do follow political news some. If I only have the option of a Republican or a Democrat, I will choose the Republican. I do not agree with the Democrats on really any issue, as they honestly seem just as religious as the Republicans, do not move forward or support any personal freedoms any better and are way too anxious to give you the shirt off of that guy's back. Playing Robin Hood has not worked in the past, it isn't working now and it won't work in the future to make this a productive and thriving nation. I am against entitlement programs.
