I've read the whole series many many times, I love them. I like the movies a lot too!

I am aware that they are based on the bible but I don't care, it doesn't take away my enjoyment of them at all. The religious aspect isn't as apparent in the movies as in the books, but the gist is that Aslan is God, the White Witch is Satan/Evil, Aslan is from the land across the sea (which you can't get to unless you die) is Heaven, Aslan creates Narnia and the stars and plants and animals, Aslan dies and is resurrected, Lucy often sees Aslan when the others don't because she has the most faith in him, there's a garden with a magic tree in the middle which if I recall correctly bears golden fruit (so, Eden I guess?) etc... The books don't really have a religious feel to them though, they're just a great adventure story.

That's how I see it too! lol It's all fantasy, whether you're reading the book of Genesis or The Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe!

I read them and liked them when I was young. Had no idea about the religion aspect until much later. I don't care for the movies though. Well, ok, I just saw the first one, but thought it was boring.
