With family crisis? Like, when things go bad, when you hit rock bottom, obstacle after obstacle... how do you cope?
...My family is going through a crisis right now. Nothing we can't handle, but there are certainly low points, and it has been very hard. It has been suggested to us by various friends and extended family that now is the time to seek god, go to church etc for support. Not happening. There isn't any talking us into it concerning the matter. It would never happen. Anyhow, how do you combat this? Tell people no, all the while still managing to cope with your own problems?
Don't people know how to offer words of comfort without god?!
Sorry for the vagueness... Hopefully the point came across.
I have to say that I've thankfully never been in that situation; and if I were, nobody around me is religious enough to talk about God to me. So I don't know exactly how I would handle it. But it is a shame that they can't find a way of offering support without invoking the name of their god.
I hope thinks start looking up for you!
