JM doesn't have a Pagan board (hmmmm), and I feel most at ease here. I've been lurking here since they put it up, so I was just wondering if I could post here. My DF is an athiest, so I understand where you all are coming from; and I also was an athiest when I was younger.

Hope I'm not intruding.

i don't think the term atheist or agnostic applies to me anymore either and I come here. and i didn't even ask! lol

btw, if you don't mind me asking, what does it mean to be pagan? I know I've heard people call themselves Pagan before, but I'm not quite sure what that implies. I'm just curious.

Yay!

A pagan is someone who worships nature, multiple gods and goddesses (from Egyptian to Norse to Hindu, etc), and generally practices witchcraft. That is my view on what it is, but I know it can mean other things to different people.

Welcome! At one point in time I considered myself Pagan-ish, so I'm familiar. I actually studied alot of different occult traditions over the past 10 years. At the end of all that, I still found myself on an atheist track though.

Anyway, glad you found us!

I find Norse mythology fascinating! Can you recommend any good books on the subject? I'm looking for something to read!
