Part of my reason I couldn't ever say I'm a follower of a religion is because I just can't have faith.. How does having faith solve any issues? I just can't understand it. You make a plan, you follow the plan, make changes if necessary and follow through.. What is with the faith thing?

That is why I gave up arguing with religious people long ago. They have something you can't argue with. Faith. It is irrational and makes no sense but you can't argue against it because it is what they blindly believe. It is like someone telling you they have faith that the earth is flat and god put dinosaur bones in the earth to "fool the scientists". There is no arguing with something silly like that. Frustrating.

It really is annoying isn’t it? I think I am a debate masochist.

The "step of faith" is when you choose to disconnect your brain from reality.
