Anyone seen this on tv? It makes me SICK. Water curing diseases and sight and all of that. My boyfriend I were watching it with his christian mother and my boyfriend was laughing about how stupid it was and was a gimmick it is. She was getting mad saying she wanted some water.

I don't understand how some people are so naive.

I know what you mean Dayna. I think believers like having something to hold onto when all else is proven false. Religious miracles are always a possibility...in their eyes anyhoo.

I have sometimes felt envious of my religious friends for this very reason - when awful things happen, they have their faith. When someone is sick or hurt, they comfort themselves by thinking it's all part of their god's plan. Sometimes I think it must be nice. But not nice enough that I actually want to put blinders on and try to turn myself into a believer. I really don't think I could if I tried.
