Does being an atheist mean you don't believe in God? bc I don't believe in God but do share many buddhist beliefs. So I was just wondering what I am.. [/b]
Being an atheist can just mean you have no belief in a God. Many Buddhist beliefs involve Gods, so you might just be a Buddhist, and not an atheist. There are a number of atheists that use some of the Buddhist techniques relating to meditation, etc, without actually believing in gods.

I used to be a christian btw, then went through a face where I doubted everything, felt guilty and now I am at peace with the fact that I don't believe in christianity or God.[/b]
I went through the same thing as you.
You can be an atheist to some gods, and agnostic towards others. So I donít see why you canít have Buddhist leanings. Maybe you are more of a pantheist. http://www.pantheism.net/
I think any non theist belief can be compatible with atheism. I too on occasion have foo foo religious thoughts, and can very much identify with Pantheism and Taoism.
Everyone has there own journey to find their own spirituality and while many atheists are content in just knowing there is nothing else when we are done here, there are others who would like to explore non traditional ideas on life after death. I think atheists generally tend to fall on the side of if there is nothing to prove it, then it doesnít exist, but I donít think it has to be that way. There are not many rules to atheism which is why it can not qualify as a religion.
I hope you figure out whatever makes you happy, because imo we only have one life to live and we should make it as great as we can.
