Okay, so this afternoon I am going to the doctors to get my Progestrone level checked... I just go to the Lab, I don't actually get to see my doctor... but would they be able to detect a pregnancy this early, if I happen to be pregnant... Oh and BTW they are not checking my HCG levels as far as I know.

my ob said he wouldn't check levels till 10dpo.. I personally think that is late and you can see it earlier.. but regardless unless you implanted I say too early to tell.. good luck to you sweetie

I doubt it would show up yet (althought if it were me, I would want it tested )

Implantation might not take place for a day or more still. Good luck with the progesterone test!

Until implantation occurs, you wouldn't get a + . . . from what I know, that's normally 7-10 days dpo. So, 6 dpo would be pretty dang early. But, you never know!

Are they drawing blood to test for HcG only? I know there is a hormone produced when the egg actually gets fertilised (before it implants) that they can also check for, but it isn't a guarantee that the egg will implant.

6dpo sounds a little early to me but I totally think if they are doing the quantitive (instead of qualitive) tests and your HcG level is like super low like 3, that might be an early sign of pregnancy.

Good luck and let me know what happens!
