The other day I'm at work and my husband calls. I hear dd in the background yelling at him and he is all in a frenzy. My conversation goes like this:

ME: Hello!
DH: Hey I have a question
ME: What?
DH: How do you make pancakes?
ME: (I'm giggling a little)Take the mix and pour it into a bowl
DH: OK
ME: Now add water and stir(I'm now trying very hard not to laugh)
DH: Thats it?
ME: yes its not rocket science
DH: Its really chunky
ME: Add more water
DD: Duh dad!
ME: ROFLMAO

Now mind you I'm at work so all of my co-workers are listening and they are laughing hysterically at the fact the dh doesn't know how to make pancakes. I get home later that evening and I see like 4 pancakes in the trash. 2 are burned to a crisp and 2 are not fully cooked. He had the fire on high. I had to show him how to do them properly. LOL. DD loves pancakes they are her favorite and she would not touch his.

Heh, I thought only my husband is capable of such blunders. One day he decided to make rotis (Indian flat breads) so he asked me how to knead dough in email. I told him to put some oil and salt in to flour and knead. I thought water is given, I mean everyone know to knead you need water!! But my DH he kept adding oil, and then he became health conscious, so he added some water When I came back home he said ' I added some water in dough too, cause I thought that much oil is not good for health.'

Now making roti dough is like making pan cakes in Indian families, I thought he would know better to add water!!!

That is too cute! Don't you love men! haha

My husband was harrassed by my daughter last night to help her make a cake.. I even bought them a box cake to make.. VERY simple, directions on the box... I swear to you he asked me 50 million questions about making it! LOL

Yeah the only thing my DH knows how to cook is tacos with the kit in the box, so every time he has to do dinner we know what we will be eating. If he tries anything else he drives me crazy with questions, so I just let him make his tacos.

That is too funny!! I have the same conversations with DH all the time. He'll say to me "how do you make mac and cheese" and I say "read the box".

I guess men are all the same

LOL....didn't you know once a man finds a wife, he becomes helpless, LOL!
My DH is banned from the kitchen. He can burn water...ruined a couple of pans that way.
So...the only time he cooks is if he uses the "man oven".....aka the grill. If it can be grilled he can cook it. Other than that...forget it!
