I remember when we were ttc our son that I watched a show on exactly what it takes to get pregnant, have a successful pregnancy and give birth to a perfect little being. Each step of the way there's like a 1 in some odd million chance that things will occur just right.

I mean, first the egg and sperm have to be good, then they have to meet, then it has to implant just right, then the cells need to divide, and the processes get more complex from there. The show was amazing and it really made me question how so many babies are born when all of these millions of factors need to be so precise.

I know this may sound odd, but that show has always stuck in my mind! I'm not a really religious person, but I do know that whomever or whatever you believe in as a higher power is responsible for creating a new life. There's no other possibility. A baby truly is a miracle!

For those of you who are ttc #1, I hope and pray that one day soon you'll be holding your miracle and you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.

For those of us ttc our 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th, you probably know exactly what I mean!

Babydust to all of us!!!!

Never seen the show, but I have thought of it many times. I think "wow, DH's lil men had to make it all the way up there" from what I learned in sex ed, it's not many who make it.
