absolutely! I usually have about 5 really fertile days. Also, sperm can live for up to 3 days (it varies depending on what source you believe). I've also read that sperm can live for 4 days, but can only fertilize within 24 hours. There are so many unknowns, but if you bd the day before you O, your chances are still very, very good!
Thank you for your response .....I do hope this is my month. This waiting to conceive can be alitte bit tought . It seems so much easier when your not trying, then it seems like it happens right away but in reality it probably takes just as much time to conceive but your not really paying attention then.
I agree with momtocurtis. I have read a lot if info on it & have learned that fertility lasts from 3 days before to 1 day after ovulation. Of course there are a lot of speculations about that. But that is what I've heard.
It is very difficult it seems. I was so excited when my dh & I agreed to ttc. And now it has been a little over 3 months (which seems like forever) and still nothing. I am not giving up hope I am just worried about him. It was his decision and now he gets so tired of hearing me talk about it. I think he is just getting discouraged. So I guess I will be talking to you ladies about it a lot more instead of aggrevating my dh with it LOL
Good luck to you I really hope this is your month!! As well as mine hehehe...
I would think if you BD the day before you ovulated you should be okay. However, I've read a lot and fertility of you and your DH plays a large role in the TTC factor. The month I miscarried we BD on day 9 and day 20 and I got pregnant. I come from a very fertile family (1 of 11 children) though. Also, a lot of it depends on what your fluid was the day you BD. That plays a very large role. If you had the stretchy, eggwhite fluid than that is definitely a good sign b/c that will help the sperm to live longer. Good luck to all of you.
Happy Valentine's Day!!
