this is kind of interesting - it surprised me that the blue dye tests were all more obviously + than the pink dye tests!

That really doesn't surprise me. I personally don't find FRER the brand to show me positive the soonest. I seem to take forever to get a positive on those. The reason I use them though is because I get the least amount of evaps on them and I am one that is very prone to evaps. I get a lot of them on certain brands.
