Ive been reading about how to try for a boy, and they say to try the day before you O and the day you O and to give Dh a pop before tring, and make sure you have an org.. and that will help you have a boy. And with a girl you try on different days and your not suppsed to have an org..
Did anyone do this, and did it work?
Part of me wants to just try and see what happens, and another wants to try this method.
I don't really care one way or the other, but dh would really like a boy. He grew up with 3 sisters, and I came from a family of 2 girls, so he figures our odds of a boy are slim.
I personally do not see myself trying these different methods, that I don't really believe work anyway, because it would only add a huge amount of stress in TTC I will be happy with whatever we are meant to have, and DH told me he would really like a girl which surprised me a little because a lot of times men want a son
I do know that little boy swimmers are faster, but less resilient and tire out quicker than little girl swimmers. Thus, the fact that if you BD as close to ovulation as possible your chances are better for a boy. The girls are slower but much more resilient (tougher). If you O' then this gives the boys an even better chance of beating the girls there and do the work that is needed. If you do not O it makes the boys job harder and the girls are tough enough to work though it. This is what I know, it all sounds complicated. Every day it seems a new study comes out disproving the less recent ones. I am really not sure what theory is correct. Who knows?? I would love a boy, but I will love a girl too! My DH and I have 3 children combined 2 girls and 1 boy. A boy would even things out and give DH one of each, just like me. That is my whole take on boy VS girls.
