Ok, I bought some instead cups today at lunch, and I think I'll use them tonight, tomorrow, and the next day. My question is how long do I leave them in after BDing? I assume I put one in as soon as we are done?

I always put one in as soon as we were done. I leave mine in overnight. They can be left in for up to 12 hours.

They look like little disposable diaphrams.... they are an alternative to tampons, and I learned from the people on this website that they can help you conceive if you put one in after BDing because they hold the little spermies in.....

I love the instead cups, even for AF. But I always found pads/tampons rather uncomfortable.

This was our first cycle using Instead Cups and I guess we'll find out in a few days if they did any good this cycle. I really don't think so b/c AF seems to be upon me w/the grumpiness and cramps.

I leave mine in overnight, or if it's mid-day BDing, just however long. Not over 12 hours though.

Good luck!!!!
