OK, I know that nobody here is capable of telling me exactley what's going on with my cycle, lol, and I'm sorry if your all sick of hearing my frustrations, but I'm just so confused and frustrated that I need to talk about it, and hope that someone can give me there expert knowledge lol.

So I stated in a previous post that Af is 3 days late now. I took a test this morning with a walgreens brand test and it was BFN. Then about 4 hours later at about noon I had some brownish/pink spotting, and I thought that it was finally the start of my period... but a little odd that it looked like old blood, and now it's 7:30 pm and there isn't even the slightest trace of a period and I have clear CM. So is it possible that an egg could've implanted this late in my cycle (17DPO / CD32)? Or do you think that maybe I'm just having a messed up cycle??? Oh and I usually have 28 day cycles if that helps...

Thanks in advance to those who read my complaints about my cycle, lol.

Hi there ! I know all of us ladies on JM are more than happy to lend a helping hand if we can .

First off do you chart?

Are you sure when you Od??

If you chart can we have a look to see what the heck is going on .

If you dont chart anything is really possible . The spotting could turn into af for sure . I have had that happen more than a few times.

I would go and get a FRER and test with that. Was the Walgreen's test a blue dye test?

GL and KUP!

i think its really possible that you could have implanted late and this is IB. It would also explain why you are getting bfn. As the pp poster said, if you have a chart it might give a little bit more information. If not then i would wait a few days and call your doctor for a blood test.

No I have never charted any of my cycles. It's usually really obvious to me when I'm ovulating, but for some reason this cycle I just wasn't sure because I had clear slippery CM, but I never noticed any EWCM this cycle, and was kinda dry on the day that I was "supposed" to have ovulated, so I thought that maybe I didn't ovulate this cycle. Can you chart with a regular digital thermometer or does it have to be a BBT thermometer?

Also, yes it was a blue dye test that I had used this morning.

I popped over here b/c I'm currently TTC (actually in the 2WW) and when I saw your post I wanted to respond.

I have two boys and with my first I had browning/pinkish spotting at 15 DPO, and with my second I had that on and off from 18 DPO through my 11th week of pregnancy.

My ob said some of it initially may have been IB, some of it may be because your body is confused because it thinks you're supposed to get a period but you're not...and with my second since I actually even had one day with some bright red he did an ultrasound and it was just a low-lying placenta that corrected itself by my 16 week ultrasound.

So, while it could be AF is just showing up late and starting in a strange way...I would say it is entirely possible that this is an early pregnancy sign for you like it is for me. Oh, and with my second one I was getting BFN's pretty consistently. I was sure if a WAS pregnant I was going to m/c but I did not.

Good luck and I hope you see a BFP in a day or so!

Thanks for your response hubshope (sorry don't know your real name ) but your response gave me some hope! Do you know how many DPO you were before you finally got a BFP? I got a BFP with my son at 9 DPO so having to wait this long to get a BFP (if I'm going to get one!) just doesn't seem possible to me, lol!

I don't know the difference between bbt and a regular digital. What I read was that it just has to show at least 98.6 so to the tenth degree, and that's what I use, which I thought was just a regular digital. I have been temping and able to see the shift so it seems to work. Hopefully you won't need it though
