At what point is it too late to BD? I had my 2nd day of a high temperature. I think I ovulated on Tuesday the 30th. My opks were positive on the 29th and the 30th. We DTD the afternoon of the 30th and the following morning. That was all we BD. I hope it was enough to get preggo and we timed it right. DH has to work til late tonight----but I think by then it is too late anyways.

I also think you O-ed on the 30th. It's hard to tell when exactly you O-ed that day though. Hopefully BD-ing that night wasn't to late to catch the eggie! Its good you BD-ed again the next morning. It wouldn't hurt to try again, even though it probably is to late if you did O on the 30th. This is the point where you have to get your mind of things. The 2WW is a pain to go though and you just have to believe you did the best you could for this cycle. GL to you!!!

Considering the fact that you had 2 pos OPK and that O can happen 12-48 from that and your CM was EWCM for those 2 days (sometimes our temps can be off) I would say your chances were good for both days! look forward to joining you in TTW I'm either there today or will be.

If you BD anytime after O even a few hours than your chances drop significantly. The reason is that it takes sperm time to travel, than it takes sperm about 6 hours for their caps to get activated and capable of breaking through the egg shell. An Egg usually only lives about 12 hours. It is usually required that there are sperm already waiting for the egg when it comes out. That is why the 24 hours before Ovulation actually give you the highest chance of conception. If you BD on O day but had not quite O'ed yet than I would say you still have a pretty decient chance. Good luck and I hope you caught your eggie!
