My boyfriend and I are ttc our first child. I'm a little unsure of how long it will take. I was pregnant in 09 and had a mc. I began taking bc because I was not ready to try again. In December of 2010 I stopped taking the bc because i was wanting to try again. Well at the beginning of Feb of this year I decided to start taking my bc again. My boyfriend and I started talking about having our own child (he has a 8 yr old daughter with his deceased wife) so after only 3 days of taking my bc I stopped taking it again. I'm worried that because I didn't finish the pack that it will mess with me being able to get pregnant right away. Now its about time for my period and I am somewhat having symptoms of pregnancy. I am unsure of whether I should test or if I should wait longer. Has anyone done this before? I need to understand because I don't want to be trying for a long time. I am still heartbroken over my miscarriage but I am sure I am ready to try again. I love my boyfriends daughter to death but I want to have my own too. Please someone help me.

well try just testing once a week until you get a BFP or AF shows up. then start tracking your cycle from there.

I think your body will be fine I don't think those few days will mess you up that much, I agree with PP just keep testing then track your cycles

Good luck hope you get a speedy BFP

I feel your pain. I also had a miscarriage in 09. We haven't tried for a baby since due to hurt and fear. However we have decided this month is the month to ttc again. Everyone is different on how long it takes though. My first pregnancy I got pregnant first cycle. I would love for that to be the case this time but idk if that will happen. I'm worried that maybe I have scarring from the d&c. I have already started taking my prenatals no drinking or smoking just doing everything as though I were already prego that way maybe it will speed the process up a little. I'm just like you I am impatient and really just want a little one. Good luck! Hoping this month is our month to conceive!!!
