Hello ladies. DH and I will TTC in another two months or so, but in the mean time I want to start charting my cycles so I can get ovulation timing down.
What OPK's do you like/work well for you? I am looking at some on Amazon, but they have such mixed reviews. I'm not sure I like the idea of the smiley face ones because I feel like they will not be as accurate or the fact that you can't monitor the ebb and flow of the surge.
We really want to try for a boy, so that is why I want to help out our odds by BD'ing as close to the surge as possible.
TIA ladies. I'll probably be around more now since I am going off BC in a week!

Honestly i like the smiley faced ones better. I know they are more expensive, but these line test drive me crazy. I mean i may think its positive and its not, or i may think its negative and its actually positive. That smiley face takes the guess work out.

I've been using the line tests and i didn't get a positive this month so im freaking out....but i also wonder if i tested enough..i so wish i would've gotten that smiley face lmao.

My doc recently told me the CBE digi smiley faces are the most accurate on the market. I buy ICs just to have something to pee on...lol. I'm a POAS addict so I use the ICs mostly and the CBEs from day 14-21, for my 32 day cycle.

I bought internet cheapies from eBay (40 cents each). This is my first time using them. I don't think you need an ebb and flow though honestly. If you chart and use OPKs for 2 months before starting, you should be able to pinpoint ovulation within a few hours unless you're not very regular

Well, I will 4 active BC pills to take and then I am done. Last time I came off BC my cycles were pretty regular and then I had one really long cycle. Eliza was a little earlier than expected. I went from probably ovulating around day 14 to day 28 in one cycle. But I was pretty stressed. So, I was thinking about going with the cheapies so I can test a lot.
