Hello all. My first post technically....i was a member 4 years back when i was trying to concieve my child. Now cannot log back on with that username.

Wanted some advice.... i ovulate on cycle day 17. I have been temping. Hoping to concieve a girl.

This month im thinking of trying the Shettles method, BD 2 days before Ov, so until day 15. Do u think i could also try O+12 method in the same month?? Just to increase my chances?

So if i Bd until day 15, then when would i have to BD for the O+12 method? Day 18?

tia

Hmm Ive researched quite a bit about gender selection since our 3rd child will be our last and we want a girl since we have 2 boys. Honestly I dont think any of these methouds work. They still come out about 50/50. The only reliable proven methouds are Microsort and Genetic testing of embryo. To me going through all this effort to try to have a certain gender sounds too high maintnance and stressful and probably wont work anyways. The 0+12 methoud just sounds like a plain bad idea since your not suppose to BD until after ovulation. And since its really hard to pinpoint the exact time of ovulation you may miss your egg all together as they dies about 12 hours after ovulation.

Just buy a really expensive blue unreturnble baby item. Murphys Law trumps shettles every time
