I took Clomid CDs 7-11. Long story short, timing got a little goofed up, so I did end up starting the clomid, though 2 days later than planned. Now I'm a little confused because my OPKs are making me a little bit crazy.

I kept getting told to not start using OPKs until 3 days after the last pill, and that's exactly how long I waited. It appears that the test from CD14 is positive.

Then technically yesterday now, like 6-1/2 hours ago, I got the second test there, which is extremely positive (haha).

I thought maybe it was just the Answer brand that were coming up super positive so I decided to use a First Response test to see if I got something different. This was about 6 hours after the second test, and it's negative. I'm going to test again tomorrow with Answer again because I only had the one First Response.....

But is it possible that the LH is already going away? I thought that was a gradual process and wasn't sure that I would get a different result so close in time to the previous test. Then again it also makes me think too much because I should have never used two different brands and expected my head not to be crazy.

And here's my chart just for fun.... if I do in fact ovulate this month (or already have) I think we did enough BDing to cover the bases so far LOL

Any insight?? Thanks ladies!

Well...the charts & tests certainly don't match, but i would go with CD15. I have had opks get darker and then stark white hours later.

I would say you caught the middle of your surge with CD14 (that's a pretty dark line), were still surging when you took it on CD15 and with the next, the surge was gone. The only other thing I'm thinking is that the test on CD16 was defective, the line looks weird.

I'm not saying its the same thing, but on a clomid cycle, i got what i thought was a surge... but fertile feelings didn't go away. Then a week later i got a second surge that lasted 3 days on opks. I felt o pains at that time.

Thanks ladies. I'm super aggravated because today's tests (2 of them) were both positive again.

I don't ever ovulate on my own and don't ever get ovulation pains, so I'm wondering if that's what I'm experiencing and had experienced about 2 hours ago... it felt like someone stabbed me! Hurt really bad then went away... it was just like BAM then it was gone. Since then I've just felt a little crampy, but I also have on and off the past couple days.

Does the LH dissipate BEFORE you ovulate? Or could what I experienced be ovulation pain while there's still a surge?

Here's a pic of today's tests. One other thing I noticed is that my temperatures are much closer together than they have been in past cycles. Usually they're up and down and up and down... the past 3 days have been very, very close together. IDK.

Mine usually does disipate before or during ovulation. I did soy this cycle (supposed to work like clomid) and i had horrible cramping pain for almost 48 hours. I wonder if i took too much? I ovulate on my own, but they are weak and i get an lp of 6 days. Hoping this one is longer.
