Ok, I am 5DPO and last night a started feeling crampy on my left side. Its different from the way I feel when I ovulate, but in the same general area. yesterday was only 4 DPO, but I have read that implantation can occur as early as 3 days. I fear that I am imagining symptoms, but I definitely feel something different that what is usual. I never have any PMS symptoms. I have never cramped before or during PMS, so if its not implantation I am wondering what it is. Any thoughts? Any one else experienced this feeling?

Honestly, I don't think you're crazy. Even if HCG isn't being produced yet, there are tons of hormonal changes going on after conception so I think it's totally possible to have some stuff going on.

In fact, I think lots of girls have had "symptoms" as early as 2dpo! Gas, cramping, fatigue....I don't think you're crazy at all.

With my pregnancies, I would continue to cramp and become tender in the ovarian area. It was because of the corpus leteum cyst that forms on the ovary that released the egg. It supports the baby until the placenta can take over. The cyst can form even in cycles where a pregnancy doesn't occur, so it's not a fail-safe sign, but my personal experience is that I've really only "felt" it in early pregnancy! GL!!!
