I think the title explains it self. As I said in a couple posts before, I am completely new and I have a ton to learn about ttc. Before a few nights ago, I wasn't aware anyone struggled with this. (I was very out of the loop about the whole thing.) My DF and I are going to try the fertility calender. Does anyone have any advice? What is the best mindset to have when going about this process?

I hope your stay is short and sweet. I would say go into ttc with an open heart and open mind. You will find the ladies on here are caring, and compassionate.

Have you started temping with a BBT, or using OPKs... i would suggest that for sure..

I'm Lucy

As Raina suggested, I would also recommend temping and charting. It can be overwhelming in the beginning, but is easy once you get used to it Those fertility calendars aren't very accurate, so you could really miss your fertility window if you go by them. Good luck! Lots of baby dust to you!

except I'm Robyn, not Lucy.

I ovulate early so if I didn't chart I would have completely missed my window.

Welcome! The ladies here have all had good suggestions, they're pretty awesome

The ladies here will tell you that my attitude is to be positive. (Positivity breeds positivity I say!) Don't start out with the idea that it's going to be hard, because for most couples, it isn't. It's ok to be upset or frustrated if things aren't going the way you want them too as well. Don't beat yourself up about it.

Oh, and when's the wedding? I love wedding photos, so if it's soon, I fully expect to see a whole whack of them when it happens!!! If it's not soon, then you better be pregnant and off this board by then
