You know what I'm wondering today? How come it takes the sperm just a few hours to get through the fallopian tubes, but it takes like a week for the egg to get through? I know what the technical answer is, because the sperm has a tail but the fertilized egg does not. But seriously, why can't our eggs be made with a motor? Why do only sperm get to move fast? Why am I thinking about this, you ask? Well, because I'm 5PDO and I'm DYING to test, but I can't because the egg is taking it's merry little time getting through the tubes.

You know you bring up a good point. When TTC it would be cool if we could add some motors to the eggs. I always tell myself that stuff like this teaches patience, but maybe I wasn't cutout to have a great deal of patience...lol

So well said, Lucy. I hate the patience you have to exercise when TTC...Come on, eggie!!!! Go ahead and snuggle in so Lucy can test and get her BFP!

Maybe it has something to do with weight and then when it gets fertilized it gets heavier. And because you know, women like to be fashionably late!

That is sooooo funny! Your egg needs to be more like this guy running to the finish line! I can't wait to see your BFP. When are you testing, Lucy?!

That is so funny Lucy. I have a very active imagination. Now I'm picturing little eggies trolling along and spermies swimming around in their little fallopion tube city.

This is sooo true. After being in the military you would think I have a lot of patience.......wrong. I'm only about 3 dpo and I wish the days would go by just a little faster!

It'd be awesome if we could get our BFPs faster after ovulation.

I'm pretty sure mine roll away from the sperm as soon as I ovulate. That's probably what I keep getting BFNs

Sperm- NO!!!!!!! EGGIE!!!!!! I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU AND WENT THROUGH SO MUCH TO GET HERE! DON'T ROLL AWAY!

Egg- Whatever, sperm! I'd rather die than get fertilized!

Yeah, I'm about 90% sure that's what's been going on in my body at ovulation.

I think eggs also need anchors so they stay put once they are motor-jetted to the uterus...
