Called the RE about our BW... (x-posted TTCMA)

.. and she said it was in (thanks for the call-ugh!) and that I can come Monday at 3:30 to go over the results (is that standard procedure?? Makes me think that there is something abnormal) and to start the protocol for IUI.

I am thrilled to finally start the process. She said they will be able to do all that in the same appointment but normally the RE likes to go over BW results before they start the monitoring for IUIs, but since Monday I will already be CD 2 or 3 they are doing it at the same time!!

I am SO hoping this will get me knocked up!!!

I'm sure this will be a little overwhelming at first but at the same time I'm excited to learn more about my body (like all the different follies I'll have growing and their sizes).
Obviously I will update as soon as I get back on Monday! Boy that seems far away right now... lol.

Here comes your BFP!!! So they do the everything on cd2 or 3 and it works until you ovulate?? I"m not sure about all this stuff how it works lol

Thanks, Grace was much smaller then (she is 70lbs now) but I can't seem to get them to lay together for a pic and look at me anymore so I gave up!

No, they aren't doing the IUI quite yet, sorry.

Should have explained that a bit better... They will monitor me for the follicle number and sizes to make sure it's "worth it" to do an IUI. If the ripening egg doesn't look really good they won't "waste your money" on a cycle that most likely wouldn't result in a pregnancy.
This is all just from what I've read but I guess they will do BW to check LH and then u/s's to check how the egg is ripening before the actual IUI process. I also want to do a medicated cycle, which means I will be on clomid and most likely a trigger shot of hsg that tells the ovaries to drop that egg!

On my cycle day 3 ultrasounds it showed if I was ready to be medicated. No cysts or anything that would hurt the process. Then I'd take my meds and go back at cycle day 14 to get another ultrasound to check follicles. If I had a ripe one (which my first time I had 2 decent ones) I would trigger that day...IUI the next day. Unfortunately that wasn't my way of getting pregnant. I had my U/S on cycle day 14 the next time and decided to wait to ovulate on my own. Then I had the IUI!

This is it Nina! It's going to happen for you! I just know it!

Get plenty of IC's and test your trigger out! Otherwise you will go nuts wondering if your line is really a pg line!

Wow Sonica, we are going to be exactly in sync!! How wild is that?!?

Thanks Lindsey, I tested again this afternoon and bfn so I am pretty sure I am out. But it's ok; I have the iui to focus on now. That helps!

Jillian, I am just nervous that they will trigger and do IUI the same day and it won't work for me either.

That right now is the biggest fear I have out of all this.. I'm sure they will go over it all with me on monday; I'll make sure to take notes so I can relay everything!

No, no. They won't. Don't worry. They have to give the HCG time to get into your system.
