This is my first month charting and look at that SPIKE! whoa that is crazy... however I'm afraid its cuz of the surgery I just had... Do you think its a ovulation spike or because I just got my wisdom teeth pulled.... I'm also so afraid of taking my meds becacuse I don't want it to harm a baby if i am pregnant..
If any of you ladies know anything about these meds let me know!
Amoxicillin= Taken one, My mom said it should be fine(shes a nurse)
Dexamethasone= Haven't taken at all. Heard its bad.
Endocet= My pain med which i have to take or ill surely die from pain!!!

I wasn't planning to have surgery but went into the dental clinic and they told me that day i'm getting my wisdom teeth out. Gotta love the Army!!!

I hope if i am pregnant that none of this has an effect on the baby.

BUT!!!! I'm still so EXCITED FOR THAT SPIKE!!!! sorry drugs.... rofl

That is a great spike!!!!

You should start charting on cycle day 1...the first day of your period.

Good luck with this spike! It's so exciting to see it happen isn't it!

I should of started on CD 1 but i figured there was no point if you are bleeding right.... nah wrong i think its still good to know what your normal range is. I started right after i ended and love temping its so much fun. My DH will check my chart everyday and he noticed the spiked and jumped for joy. lol My DH is a cutie. I'm blessed hehe

I would start charting now though so next month at this time you can look back and compare.

If any of my sentences dont make sense sorry. the doc has me on some pretty strong pain killers. I dislike them! ><

Looks like you O'd on CD18...you should get your crosshairs after you enter your temp in the morning! It is so gratifying to see your temp jump and KNOW for sure that you ovulated. Now on to the hard part, the 2ww!

Amoxicillin is perfectly safe, I had to go on it last cycle and my dr specifically put me on it because it is safe when ttc and when pregnant. I don't know about the others though.

As for the others wanting to start charting, you can start any time. The month I started I ended up starting to chart mid cycle and since my cycle was so long I was able to capture a couple pre-O temps so I could see my range for pre-o and post-o (check out my chart, its the oldest one). Even if you have already o'd it will give you an idea of your post-o temp range and IF AF comes this month you will be able to see how your chart reacts to it. For example my temp drops before AF ever shows her face so I know she is on her way and can prepare for it. Definitely make sure you temp at the same time each morning, and you need to have atleast 3 hours of sleep for it to be considered an accurate temp. Don't do ANYTHING before you take your temp- this includes talking, getting up out of bed, going pee, etc. First thing you need to do in the morning is stick that thermometer in your mouth and just lay still till it beeps! I temp the entire cycle, even during AF, just to keep myself in the habit but if we go out one night and I drink during AF then I let myself slide and not temp in the morning.
**Also, drinking the night before can impact your temp--how much is dependent on the person and the amount of alcohol, but I just wanted to give you a heads up!

OH YAH, also forgot to mention to check your thermometer for accuracy from time to time. My thermometer messed me up not once but twice last month (it is now in the trash, I bought a new one). You will see that I had to discard several temps- this is because my battery was dying and it gives you NO warning just starts giving you strange temps. I HIGHLY suggest taking your temp mid day periodically and then take it with a normal thermometer as well...if the temps are close (they won't be the same) then you are ok, but if your normal thermometer is reading a lot different than your BBT it is time for a new battery or a new thermometer.
