My doe, Lucky, kidded over night!!!
She had a reddish buckling and a cute, roan doeling!! Both are doing well; the doeling a little more active and spunky than the buckling but I am sure he will catch up. Here are some pictures:
The buckling:
I think he is saying he wants some milk!
And the doeling:
Hope you enjoyed the cuteness. It's a hectic time of the year but a lovely time of the year as well... It's always nice when the delivery goes smoothly; I know I didn't have anything to worry about with Lucky, she is a pro. Kiddings have always been easy going for her. I only have one other doe due and and she still has 1-2 weeks left.

I totally thought you were going to post that you were pregnant with twins, lol.
They are so cute! I don't think I've ever seen them that little before. I think I want one Surely my little house with no backyard would be sufficient, right? Thanks for posting for us! Definitely a highlight of my day.

Hahaha. You girls are funny! My first OB appt is on the 24th btw. Friday in 2 weeks...
Lucy, we could train you a house goat but it would probably have to wear diapers. Unfortunately they poop and pee whenever they happen too feel like it.

OMG Soooo cute!! I love goats!! I used to have them all the time but where we live now there isn't room for them. I WILL have some more whenever we buy a house and some land. Everytime our does had babies we had to help, we never had an easy delivery so i'm glad she did!

*Lapses into a cuteness coma*
I love goats. We'll have a couple on my someday farm, but for now at least I get to play with my cousin's "kids."
By the way, if the doeling happens to go missing, don't worry, she'll be fine. ;-)

Thank you! They will be extra cute in about a week when they start bouncing around! It's amazing how much baby goats love jumping off things and doing gymnastics in mid air!!
Kristin, oh yes, we have other animals. lol.
8 chickens, a pot belly pig, several "free ranging" ducks (muskovys and pekin) and a "leased" horse. He is a kids camp horse and I get to keep him the 8 or so months he isn't in camp. With the two kids born yesterday I now have 12 goats (the kids will be sold though, well the buck for sure. Not positive yet on the doeling... I am trying to cut back on my herd.

OMG, they are so cute!!!! I recently moved to my dream 10 acre farmette and have a horse due in April.
Now after their cuteness I fear I may have to add goat to the menagerie of animals I already have.

That's amazing!! They're so cute!!!
I cannot WAIT to move out of the city and be able to have chickens and goats and my own large garden instead of my plot in a community garden that i have now. That has ALWAYS been my dream. So jealous!
