Has anyone ever had O symptoms, and if so what were they, and how early before O did you get them... I started having some dull aches and pains last night and still have them this morning... the aches are around where my ovaries should be, but i have not gotten a positive OPK???? I have NEVER had O pains before.... Not sure if I should be concerned or not????

I have them sometimes, and other times I do not, but they can start before you ever get a positive opk, some only get them when they are o'ing and others get them after O....so unfortunately I am no help at all!

Yep that is the feeling I sometimes get before O. Hopefully that means your ovaries are knocking the dust off and deciding they are going to do something this month!

I get them like clockwork ever since my first pp back in November. I get irritable the day before and then the day I ovulate I get not really painful but achy cramps they can even laat a couple days then exactly 2 weeks later AF arrives! I've never charted, I just follow my body signals

I so hope your right... my ovaries have been on vacation long enough... they need to shake off that dust and get to work.. Just ovulating would be such a relief and reduce some stress this cycle...

I noticed in another thread that Marla said she usually gets a positive opk about 3 days after her last Clomid pill and then ovulates about 5 days after the last pill...so hopefully those twinges are a good sign that the ovaries are gearing up!

I get O pain every month, just dull aches in my lowes abdomen and lower back, sometimes my BB's get alittle sore too. Last month I even had ovulation spotting. My pain can start a few days before. B/C of O pain and PMS I almost never get a break.....
Fingers crossed for you that this means your ovaries are doing what they are supposed to!

I also get O pains every month. It feels like a pulling (especially if I stand-up too fast!). It settles to a dull ache, and then dissapears shortly after I O.
I really hope this means something is brewing in there!!!!!!! Keeping my fingers crossed!

Yes I get them every month and they are very much like you described. Similar to AF cramps but not quite...a dull pulling achey sensation. I also get very bloated. I start these symptoms at the same time I start producing quality CM all the way through to the day of ovulation. AFTER ovulation they are a bit more of a sharp pain and more off the the side I ovulated from. The sore boobs start then too.
MAS1313 - wow you sound similar to me. I was actually worried this wasn't normal and have an appt with my OB/GYN next week. I start the O cramps a week before O, then PMS cramps a week before AF..then AF cramps. I get like a whopping week off from pain throughout my cycle. Its only been this way since DS was born.

I don't think it necessarily means anything that your pains are on both sides right now. Both ovaries (if working correctly) should be trying to develop multiple follicles. At about the time ovulation should take place, there is a dominant follicle that is more mature than the rest that will be ovulated (although sometimes more than one does happen to be ovulated but not usually.) You are probably feeling pains from the follicular fluid causing inflammation that will be on both sides right now. Once you ovulate, you may feel a more sharp pain on just one side or the other from the follicle bursting and popping that egg out! Hope that makes sense! Sounds like good things are happening for you! I bet you will ovulate very soon!

I'm actually having crampy feelings on both sides as well this cycle... and usually it's only on my right side. I'll take it though! Maybe that means it was an extra good round of meds
My first round of Clomid back in September I had THE WORST pain I've ever had with O. I swear (and some might think I'm crazy but I have read it's possible) I knew the exact second that the egg burst through. I had been crampy for a couple days almost like AF cramps, what you describe as a pulling feeling is dead-on... then I was standing up talking to my mom and I got the most intense stabbing/shooting pain that was gone as quickly as it was there... like BAM then nothing. The next day I had a temp spike. So yeah, I'm convinced that I know exactly when the egg decided to bust out.
I wish every cycle was like that, but I only experienced it that one time and since then I just have had some mild pulling sensations like you're describing.
Fingers are crossed! We're both in the same spot right now so I know you're antsy as heck.
