Girl, pains and twinges are an AMAZING sign, that honestly not a lot of women get! Your body is talking to you, telling you she's gearing... she's getting ready, she's pumping that eggie out. Don't lose hope! I KNOW you are going to O this month!!

Are you not getting any monitoring while taking the meds? Like a mid cycle ultrasound? I don't know why doctors prescribe these things without monitoring.
I know I told you this before, but I never ovulated until cycle day 16-17 and I didn't get dark lines until that happened. DOn't give up hope.
Twinges are an excellent sign though! Just read that part!

Do you know if they are taking blood or anything? I'd ask these questions because you deserve the answers. That medication is WONDERFUL for so many, but it comes with side effects that need monitoring.
Best of luck. I'm pulling for you. I know how frustrating it is...believe me.

They are going to do blood work while I am there as well. No u/s unless I have symptoms that concern the dr. If I don't ovulate then they are putting me on higher dose of Clomid.

Oh Raina, you will get this all figured out! I'm sorry that you are having such a down day. I hope you finally get some answers at the doctor!

Keep that head up!! Brandy's right - I went from a barely visible line to KAPOW positive yesterday... all in the same day! It can happen very quickly and out of nowhere. I know I can't say anything to help make you feel better because Clomid makes my emotions somewhat whacky too, but just hang in there! It's still early
I'm waiting for this update!

I really hope and pray your O comes soon.
The emotions on Clomid are to be expected, and trust me they are awful. The meds are throwing your hormones all over the place, and if you haven't been having hormone surges recently then it takes alot more to handle.
50mg Clomid doesn't work for most women from what I understand. That is just the starting dose. They have to start you low because they try to use the lowest dose they can to make you O. That way the hormones are easier than if you started on a high dose. Also the higher the dose the more chances of multiples. (It doesn't help trying to tell your Dr. that you would love twins. They still will only updose as recommended. Trust me I tried that one.)
Usually they will go up by 50mg each month until you O or for 6-7mo. Most Dr's won't let you stay on more than that long because they say if you didn't O on those doses then Clomid won't work at any dose and they will start looking into different treatments.
Not everyone is successful on Clomid. I think I was uo to 350-400mg when I was taken off unsuccessfully.
If you don't O by CD21 have your Dr draw a progesterone level. They can tell by that if you O'd and just didn't know it or if you need a higher dose.
Don't let this get you down. If it doesn't work remember this is just one of many options out there.
Clomid didn't work for me, but I still have a beautiful 13mo old son, and we're working for our 2nd.
But like I said at first. I really hope you do get your O very soon

Mine looked exactly like that until the day I got the surge. No gradual change like some people get.

I would try to not let it stress you out just yet (so much easier said than done, I know)... It sounds like a lot of girls get quick surges that don't gradually darken up. I really hope you catch it soon!

Hi CB….don’t think you’re out yet. I went on FF and looked at the gallery for Clomid user and there were many charts where O didn’t occur until 10 days or more after their last dose. The very first chart it showed she took Clomid from CD 5-9 didn’t get a positive OPK until CD18, O’d on CD20 and a BFP on CD31. So please don’t count yourself out yet, there is still definitely a chance that you’ll O and it will bring you a BFP!!
